This Specification describes the functional and performance requirements for a unit protection system for 2-terminal or 3-terminal feeder circuits on the National Grid system. The principles of measurement or types of unit protection considered by this Specification are phase comparison, superimposed component protection and current differential or combinations thereof.
The equipment shall meet the hardware requirements of NGTS 3.24.4.
