scope:
This Standard specifies the solid primary zinc (hereafter referred to as "ingot"), among zinc ingots, which is obtained from the ore or other zinc-bearing materials by a process of distillation or by electro-chemical reduction, excluding zinc material in liquid form and reprocessed zinc manufactured by re-melting.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 752: 2004 Zinc ingots (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEe Guide 21-1.
