Purpose.

To implement provisions of references (a) through (k) and issue policy and guidance for establishment and execution of the Navy Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP). This revision includes public law policy updates from 2002 through 2005 and should be reviewed in its entirety. Further guidance will be promulgated from the Department of Defense (DOD) to incorporate legislative provisions from the National Defense Authorization Acts of 2006 and 2007.
