This standard describes testing procedures for evaluation of external leakage of valve stems (or shaft), body joints and connections of on-off valves and control valves intended for application in volatile hazardous fluid service. End connection joints, vacuum applications and radioactive applications are excluded from this standard. This part of this standard concerns production acceptance test of valve assemblies.
