scope:
This Standard specifies requirements for the design and installation of sanitary plumbing and drainage from fixtures to a sewer, common effluent system or an on-site wastewater management system, as appropriate. It applies to new installations as well as alterations, additions or repairs to existing installations.
Illustrations used in this Standard are diagrammatic only and have been chosen without prejudice.
NOTES:
1 The pre-treatment of trade wastes is not specified in this Standard.
2 All sanitary plumbing and sanitary drainage installations for relocatable dwellings on longterm sites should conform with this Standard.
