This specification should be used by all those when engaged in the overhaul of all variants of 3 position Double Element Vane Relays which are used extensively in the signalling system on the London Underground (LU).
Note: This specification is written to comply with LU standard S1202 'Signalling equipment overhaul' in defining the requirements for the overhaul of all variants of 3 position Double Element Vane Relays which are used extensively in the signalling system on the London Underground (LU).
Purpose
The purpose of this specification is to detail the overhaul requirements of 3 position double element vane relays (referred to hereafter as WKR, the abbreviation used to signify point indication relay, the most common application for this equipment) which are used extensively in the signalling system on the London Underground (LU).
