This CID outlines the minimum requirements for a 500-Megahertz (MHz), four-channel oscilloscope with a two Giga-sample per second (GS/sec) sampling rate and digital storage, with a differential probe for making differential measurements. This commercially available digital storage oscilloscope will be used on a bench and is capable of being modified with a rack-mount kit to be included in a rack-mount assembly. This CID is meant as a minimum requirement for the oscilloscope, and only those manufacturers that meet or surpass the following requirements are to supply the oscilloscope per this CID.
