Train System Performance Evaluation
Organization: | LUL |
Publication Date: | 1 September 2013 |
Status: | inactive |
Page Count: | 12 |
scope:
This standard applies to all railway projects that change the data sets described in sections 3 to 9 below.
It should be noted that a change to the data sets does not automatically require Train System Performance evaluation to be undertaken. Train System Performance evaluation shall be undertaken only for those railway projects expected to have a significant impact on Train System Performance.
The Project Manager should make an assessment of the likely impact of the project works on Train System Performance. Where the impact is deemed to be significant the Head of System Performance should be informed. Where the Project Manager is unable to make an assessment, the Head of System Performance should be consulted.
When Train System Performance evaluation is requested, the scope and complexity of the evaluation to be undertaken for any railway project will be determined by the Head of System Performance.
Purpose
The purpose of this Standard is to define the data required to support the performance evaluation process when applied to system designs which may potentially impact on Train System Performance.
