PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This method assesses the fastness of the colour of textile materials to the action of perspiration. It is applicable to dyed, printed and otherwise coloured fabrics, yarns and fabrics of all kinds.

In the case of multicoloured materials, more than one test may be necessary to cover all colours in the pattern.

This mehthod may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous. This document does not purport to addres all the safety aspects associated with its use.
