This specification relates to an antifouling paint for use on the outer bottoms of surface ships. It is applied after the specified anticorrosive system has been completed.

The paint should prevent the growth of animal and plant fouling organisms for at least two years both on active vessels and on vessels subjected to long periods of inactivity.

Depending on the service life required, one or more coats of the .paint may be applied. The paint is available in two colours, red or chocolate to facilitate application of successive coats.
