scope:
This Standard specifies the electrically operated nursing beds for home use (hereafter referred to as the "beds"), which are capable of stepless adjustment of the angle of the back and leg sections and/or platform height It is not applicable to ordinary beds, bunk beds, beds for children, sofa beds and beds for hospitals
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
IEC 60601-2-52 : 2009 Medical electrical equipment - Part 2-52 : Particular requirements for the basic safety and essential performance of medical beds (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
