scope:
This standard covers injection operations for the purpose of improving, consolidating and strengthening soil, rock or structures, for filling voids and for displacing soil. It also applies to pressure-grouting work in connection with ground anchors, soil nailing, bored piling, micropiling, diaphragm walling and displacement piling.
This standard does not cover
- the grouting of tendon ducts (see DIN 18331),
- drilling work associated with grouting (see DIN 18301),
- jet grouting work (see DIN 18321),
- filling of cracks and voids in concrete (see DIN 18349).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18309 shall take precedence
