scope:

This standard covers injection operations for the purpose of improving, consolidating and enhancing the water impermeability of, soil, rock or structures, for filling voids and for displacing soil. It also applies to pressure-grouting work in connection with ground anchors, soil nailing, bored piling, micropiling, diaphragm walling and displacement piling.

It does not deal with

- the grouting of tendon ducts (cf. DIN 18331);

- drilling work associated with grouting (cf. DIN 18301);

- jet grouting work (cf. DIN 18321);

- filling of cracks and voids in concrete (cf. DIN 18349).

Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
