This standard specifies requirements for cross-linked expanded ethylene-vinyl acetate sheets and mouldings for use as a resilient cushioning material for packaging and general industrial applications. This is available in General Purpose (GP) or Munitions(QX) grades.
This Defence Standard prescribes the requirements for a range of expanded polystyrene (EPS) mouldings employed principally as packaging pieces in defence packing assemblies.
