This procedure covers the responsibilities of Route Operations Control for station overcrowding or special events on or affecting the railway infrastructure.
Network Rail managed stations also have additional mitigations for station response and event plans (see NR/L3/OPS/045/4.19).
PURPOSE
This procedure provides instruction and guidance on the effective management of any station overcrowding or special events on or affecting the rail network.
