This specification is written to comply with LU standard S1202 'Signal Equipment Overhaul' in defining the requirements for the overhaul of all variants of 2 position gravity biased relays which are used extensively in the signalling system on the LU.
Purpose
This specification has been written to detail the overhaul requirements of the gravity biased 2 position (style BG) relays, hereafter referred to as a 'BG relay', which are used in the signalling system on the London Underground (LU).
