This standard specifies a method of determining the 16-O-methylcafestol content of roasted coffee using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The procedure described is suitable for concentrations from 50 mg to 300 mg (of 16-O-methylcafestol) per kg of roasted coffee.
