This standard applies to compression rings (cutting rings) used for non-soldering compression fittings (connectors) with a cutting ring as in DIN 2353. It also specifies the types of compression rings.
This standard supplements DIN EN ISO 8434-1:2008-02 with sizes and details not included therein.
Additionally, the type W port is specified for the nominal size LL16 (see Annex A).
