The aim of this European Standard is to specify: The dimensional, watertightness, pressure resistance, hydraulic mechanical strength, mechanical endurance and acoustic characteristics with which the single taps and mixer taps shall comply; The test methods to verify these characteristics. This draft European Standard applies to draw off taps to be fitted to sanitary appliances installed in rooms used for bodily hygiene (WC's, bathrooms, etc.) and in kitchens.
