This document specifies requirements and test methods for the performance of clothing ensembles (e. g. two piece suits or coveralls) and of single garments for protection against the effects of cool environments (see Annex B). Requirements and test methods of garments for protection against cold environments are specified in EN 342. It does not include specific requirements for headwear or footwear or gloves to prevent local cooling.
