Bu standard, EN 292-1: 1991 Madde 3.12' de veimalatcinin talimat el kitabinda aciklanan sekilde, bu makinalarinkurulmasi, ayarlanmasi, calistirilmasi, temizlenmesi ve bakimi icingerekli teknik guvenlik ozelliklerini kapsar. Bu standard, yalnizcayayinlandigi tarihten sonra imal edilen makinalar icin gecerlidir.Asagidaki makinalar kapsam disinda tutulmustur: - Imalatcitarafindan gelistirilmekte olan deneme makinalari, - Evlerdekullanilan cihazlar.
