Preface: The standards set forth herein apply to the fourth edition of the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume I, Type I Clothes Dryers, ANSI Z21.5.1-2006 • CSA 7.1-2006, and superseded corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and subsequently approved.
