PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the fourteenth edition of the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume I, Type I Clothes Dryers, ANSI Z21.5.1-1982, and Addenda thereto, Z21.5.1a-1987, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by Accredited Standards Committee Z21 and subsequently approved as American National Standards by the American National Standards Institure, Inc.
