scope:
This standard specifies parallel pipe threads( 1 ) and is applicable to the threads( 2 ) used mainly for mechanical connection to joint the pipes, pipe fittings, fluid machinery, etc.
The parallel internal pipe thread of Class B of PF 1/8 to PF 6 in thread designation and the parallel pipe thread of PF 7 to PF 12 in thread designation shall be as specified in Appendix (normative).
Notes ( 1 ): Pronunciation in Japanese "kudayou".
( 2 ): Not to be applied to the screw threads for conduit tubes and other special products.
Remarks 1. The pipe threads where pressure-tight joints are made on the threads shall comply with JIS B 0203.
2. Threads specified in the text of this Standard shall be used with priority.
