scope:
Purpose.
This instruction sets policy and outlines combatant command, Service, and Defense agency responsibilities with regard to the JTAO Interface Training Program.
Applicability.
This instruction applies to all combatant commands, Services, and Defense agencies involved in JTAO. The scope of the JTAO Interface Training includes interoperability within the J-Series family of tactical data links, including Link 16, Link 22, VMF, and IBS as well as legacy data links, including (but not limited to) Link 11A/B, NATO Link 1, and Army Tactical Data Link 1.
