General requirements
This Standard specifies the methods of carrying out the tests specified in the particular specifications (JIS C 3662-3, JIS C 3662-4, etc.) of JIS C 3662 series for polyvinyl chloride insulated cables of rated voltages up to and including 450/750 V.
The methods of carrying out the tests are given in JIS C 3660-1-1, JIS C 3662-1 and this Standard.
