This Part of the Defence Standard provides requirements for System Safety and Functional Performance of Terminal ATC Systems, ashore and afloat. It shall be applied to any MOD project for introduction or upgrade of any ATC System for the version of this Standard in force at the time. The Scope covers Pan-Defence Air Traffic Systems and some elements of MOD Contractor Airfield systems and involves Safety, Performance and Regulatory Requirements.
