scope:
The standard contains rules for approval testing of welders. The approval testing is based on practical tests and theoretical examinations. The purpose of the standard is to give documentation of the welders' skill and jobknowledge. The results of the testing and examination are described in a certificate. This standard contains references to a number of other standards, e.g. DS/EN 287-1, DS/EN 1418, DS/EN ISO 9606-2 og DS/EN ISO 15609-1 regarding the technical rules for examination of work pieces in steel and aluminium and the welding procedure specifikations.
