scope:
The standard contains rules for approval testing of welders. The approval testing is based on practical tests and theore tical examinations. The purpose of the standard is to give d ocumentation of the welder's skill and job-knowledge. The re sults of the testing and examination are described in a cert ificate. The standard specifies two different types of appro val testing being used at workshops and welding schools.
