This Standard specifies the testing methods of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and sheets (hereafter referred to as "tapes and sheets") used for packages, seals, indicators or the like.
NOTE: The International Standards corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 29862: 2007 Self adhesive tapes-Determination of peel adhesion properties
ISO 29863 : 2007 Self adhesive tapes-Measurement of static shear adhesion
ISO 29864: 2007 Self adhesive tapes-Measurement of breaking strength and elongation at break (Overall evaluation: MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standards and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEe Guide 21-1.
