FOREWORD
This supplement covers changes for API Std 1 (Tenth Edition): Specification for Oil-Field Belting, as adopted by the Committee on Standardization of Oil-Field Belting at the 1948 meeting and as previously published in Sup1, also changes adopted at the 1950 meeting and subsequently ratified by letter ballot.
These changes include a revision of existing Appendix D: Recommended Practice on Peak-Torque Method of Rating Flat-Belt Drive for Beam Pumping Individual Wells to include recommendations for rating of V-belts for similar service, also the revision of the monogram marking requirements for V-belts.
