This standard should be used when designing, commissioning and verifying lighting installations on London Underground infrastructure. This standard does not apply to rolling stock, lift cars or lift shafts.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to ensure that all lighting systems on London Underground (LU) infrastructure are designed, modified, installed, maintained and operated in a safe and effective manner.
