scope:
This Standard specifies the low-alloyed steel wire rods for cold heading (hereafter referred to as the "wire rods") which are mainly used for manufacture of the lowalloyed steel wires for cold heading.
NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows :
ISO 4954 : 1993 Steels for cold heading and cold extruding (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEe Guide 21-1.
