PURPOSE. This Instruction defines the maintenance policies and procedures for test and repair of Electronic Assemblies (EAs) and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) contained in Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E), Navy-Type/Navy-Owned (NT/NO), Navy-Type/Coast Guard-Owned (NT/CGO) equipment, and applicable Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) equipment. It applies to Coast Guard (CG) activities involved in the maintenance and material support of this equipment.
