The material defined by this specification is a high impact thermoplastic molding compound based on a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) for non-visible or painted applications. High impact PC+ABS is defined as being minimum 80% ductile at -30°C. The material is not UV stabilized.

APPLICATION

This specification was released originally for material used for taillamp housing, in-mold film or wrapped aluminum substrate top finish panel of floor console, or painted finished molding.
