Preface

This is the first edition of CSA Standard C22.2 No. 9.0, General Requirements for Luminaires. It is intended to be used in conjunction with other Standards in the No. 9 Series on Luminaires. This new Series of Standards replaces and supersedes the previous Standard C22.2 No. 9 published in 1989, 1968, 1961, 1954, 1941, and 1933 and incorporates the following CSA Bulletins, Notices, and Technical Information Letters.
