This procedure shall apply when a signal has been passed at danger without authority (Category A) on Railtrack Controlled Infrastructure, or where a signal passed at danger could lead to an unauthorised movement entering onto Railtrack s Controlled Infrastructure.
Purpose
This procedure describes the action to be taken following a signal being passed at danger (SPAD) incident. When implemented, this procedure shall satisfy the requirements of GO/RT3252 in respect to category 'A' SPADs.
