scope:
Purpose.
This change is issued to incorporate the interim change published by reference (a), provide authority to Region Legal Service Office (RLSO) commanding or permanently assigned to a RLSO to perform notarial acts pursuant to 10 U.S.C. § 1044a, update notary qualification requirements and instructions, and clarity that volunteer civilian legal assistance attorneys are authorized to perform notarial acts. Section 0153 (e) and section 0902 (d) have been updated to reflect this change.
