This standard applies to LU their suppliers/contractors and 3rd parties.

This standard should be used when designing or commissioning new LV switchboards or LV switchboard extensions in Substations and Transformer Rooms.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to detail requirements for Low Voltage ac switchboards that are to be installed in Substations and Transformer Rooms.

Note: S1941 A1 included 600V signals switchboards which will no longer be required when the signals systems are upgraded. Appendix B details the differences for 600V signals switchboards.
