This specification should be used by all those when engaged in the overhaul of both variants of Disc Signals which are used the signalling systems on LU. This specification is written to comply with engineering standard S1202 'Signal Equipment Overhaul'.
Note: The specification hierarchy which supports these requirements is detailed in Attachment 9.3 to the specification.
Purpose
This specification has been written to detail the overhaul requirements of the Electro- Pneumatic Disc Signals which are used in the signalling system on the London Underground (LU).
