This Standard specifies requirements for the quality of significant surface of hot dip galvanized coatings (hereafter referred to as coatings) applied on steel products, steel work pieces, steel castings and forgings and iron castings (hereafter referred to as substrates) for the purpose of preventing corrosion. It does not apply to steel sheets, iron wires and steel wires that are continuously hot dip galvanized, and after-treatment/over
