This guidance applies to all parties introducing modified or new technology systems to London Underground (LU). This includes staff with responsibility for engineering, staff selection and training, the development of operations and maintenance rules and procedures, and supplier organisations and related staff.
Purpose
The purpose of this guidance is to provide an understanding of how to integrate human factors into systems development. It provides practical advice for implementing the Category 1 Engineering standard S1217 'Integration of Human Factors into Systems Development'.
