Scope and Applicability.

Per reference (a), this BUMED TEEP applies to all Active Component and Reserve Component (RC) subordinate activities and personnel who manage, resource, or have responsibility to effectively and efficiently synchronize actions to organize, train, equip, certify, and deploy Expeditionary Medical (EXMED) and Augmentation forces in support of combatant commander (CCDR), Joint, and Service force requirements. The BUMED TEEP informs planners in the development of risk assessments, prioritization, resource allocation decisions, and force sourcing recommendations.

Purpose.

To establish guidance, roles, responsibilities, and procedures for the management of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Training, Exercise, and Employment Plan (TEEP).
