This procedure does not cover the disconnection of individual telephone instruments as specified in NR/L2/SIG/10064 General Instructions to Staff Working on S & T Equipment.
Purpose
This document describes the process to be used when a telecommunications (telecoms) disconnection is required to Network Rail telecoms assets or on any other equipment that may affect operational telecoms equipment. This process also applies to 'At Risk' equipment that may be affected by work being undertaken. The requirement for notification in the Weekly Operating Notice (WON) is also included.
