This guidance document applies to London Underground escalators and lifts staff and contractors when doing any maintenance or repair work where the escalator or lift is located for the duration of the work on any London Underground site.
Purpose
This guidance describes the activities undertaken to ensure that planned work undertaken on escalators or lifts complies with the requirements of LU's standard S1088 'Managing Changes to Stations Fire Precautions'.
