scope:

This standard specifies requirements relating to the construction of plain or reinforced concrete elements.

This standard does not deal with

- grouting work (cf. DIN 18309),

- construction of diaphragm walls (cf. DIN 18313);

- sprayed concrete work (cf. DIN 18314);

- road construction work (cf. DIN 18316);

- stone work (cf. DIN 18333);

- remedial work on concrete structures (cf. DIN 18349);

- laying of screed (cf. DIN 18353).

Clauses 1 to 5 or DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
