Standard Specification for Aluminum-Alloy Sheet and Plate
|Publication Date:||3 March 1980|
|ICS Code (Aluminium products):||77.150.10|
This specification2 covers aluminum alloy flat sheet, coiled sheet, and plate, in the alloys and tempers shown in Tables 2 and 3, and in the following finishes.
Plate in all alloys and sheet in heattreatable alloys: mill finish.
Sheet in nonheat-treatable alloys: mill finish. one-sick bright mill finish. standard one-side bright finish. and standard twosides bright finish.
Alloy and temper designations are in accordance with ANSI H35.1 . The equivalent Unified Numbering System alk)y designations are those ()f Table 1 preceded by A Y. for example, A91100 for aluminum 1100 in acaccordance with Recommended Practice E 527.
NOTE 1-A complete metric companion to Specification B 209 has been developed-B 209 M; therefore, no metric equivalents are presented in this specification.
NOTE 2-For rolled tread plate, see Specificati6n B 632 for Aluminum-Alloy Rolled Tread Plate.
