This Standard relates to a film-based pressure-sensitive adhesive tape acceptable for making or reinforcing the closure of packages or containers where a measure of resistance to water is required. The tape is not acceptable for use in areas classified as 'Wet Warm' or 'Wet Hot' in DEF STAN 00-1.
