The standards set forth herein apply to the first edition of the standard for Portable Camp Cook Stoves for Use With Propane Gas, ANSI Z21.72-1982, and superesede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by American National Standards Committee Z21 and subsequently approved as American National Standard by the American National Standards Institute, Inc.
