This specification covers the requirements for one grade of grease for use at extremely low temperatures on aircraft and instruments. In addition, it will lubricate gears, actuator screws and other equipment requiring a lubricant with high load carrying capacity. This grease is effective in the temperature range from −73°C to +121°C. This grease is identified by NATO symbol G-354 (see 6.5).
